I was born in Rippey, Iowa, 4-20-09. When I was 7 years old, I moved to Sheridan County with my parents Henry and Ella Bedwell, together with my two sisters, Olive and Vera, and my four brothers, Jesse, Jay, Lester and Russel. My youngest sister, Fairy Comstock, was born after we came to Montana. Fairy now resides in Brea, Ca.
My parents purchased a farm 1-1/2 miles east of Redstone. I attended school in Redstone and worked on the farm with my father.

In December 1930, Anne Knight and I were united in marriage. My son Raymond Dale was born 7-12-32 in Plentywood, MT. We moved to western Montana and settled in Big Fork. I moved back to Redstone when my marriage dissolved. I then went to Seattle and Salt Lake City, UT with construction work. After the war broke out I returned to Great Falls, MT and continued to work in construction.

I was married to Rose Falcon of Trenton ND on 9-25-44 in Great Falls. To this union two daughters were born. Sharon Bedwell Schuff was born 6-14-50. Our other daughter was born 3-30-59 and died in infancy. Sharon has two daughters, Andrea Marie and Jaime Rae. She, with her husband Eugene live in Yorba Linda, CA. Raymond and his wife Jeanette live in Diamond Bar, CA. He has three by a previous marriage. They are Michael Dale Bedwell, Diamond Bar,CA; Robert, Bismark, ND; and Billy, Great Falls, MT. I also have two greatgrandchildren residing in Bismark, ND.

My wife and I lived in Great Falls for 30 years. I have 17 years service at the Great Falls International Airport, from where I retired. In April 1974 we moved to Brea, CA. where we live now.

Dale R. Bedwell and Anne Knight were married in Dec 1930 in Montana.²⁰⁹⁷ They were divorced.²⁰⁹⁷ Dale R. Bedwell and Anne Knight had the following children:
