Richard Beeson's HouseRichard Beeson and his wife, Ann Brown (b. 5 mo. 28 day, 1711) were members of West Nottingham Mtg. (PA) up until 1738 when they joined Hopewell Mtg in Virginia. Ann Brown was the daughter of Messer Brown and Jane (Richards) Brown. They lived on land previously owned by Richard's father where Beeson's Meeting had once stood and remained there, in Frederick Co., Va until Richard died. The will of Richard Beeson.

 

 

Richard Beeson, Jr. and Ann Brown had the following children


  1. Charity Beeson m. a Thornbrough

  2. Messer Beeson m. Mary Malin, dau of Isaac and Lydia Malin. Messer was disowned at Hopewell Mtg. in 1759.

  3. Richard Beeson was disowned at Hopewell Mtg. in 1763.

  4. Hannah Beeson m. Jesse Brown

  5. Jacob Beeson b. 1 Jun 1741 d. 16 Dec 1818 m. Elizabeth Hedges, dtr of Jonas Hedges.

  6. Henry Beeson b. 19 May 1743 d. 23 Feb 1819 m. Mary Martin, dtr of William Martin of Loudon Co., VA.

  7. John Beeson m. Dinah ?

  8. Edward Beeson m. Jane Swearingen dtr of Samuel and Ann (Farrell) Swearingen.

  9. Peter Beeson
