This is the "official" list of cemeteries in the tri-county (Jefferson, Lewis, St Lawrence) area. Numerous other cemeteries exist and will be added, however this is the list as approved and maintained by the US Board on Geographic Names. If you've ever seen a map and noticed how all the features are identical, this is how the data is derived. You can create a map showing any of the cemeteries listed by going to one of the numerous map sites, such as MapQuest or MapTech, and entering the cemetery name.

The cemeteries are sorted by name within county and are currently not searchable.  You will notice what appears to be multiple duplicates. In reality these are not as there are cemeteries of the same name located throughout each of the counties. We are currently working to show the closest population center to help in the identification of each of the cemeteries. We are also working to add alternate (local/popular) names for each of the "official" names. Please be patient as this is a tedious task.
