Minnie Floyd Thompson was born June 16, 1904 in Henderson, Texas to Louis Cemore Thompson and Lillian Josie Odom. She moved with the family to Greer County, Oklahoma when she was about 3 years old.
Minnie graduated from Mangum High School and then attended nursing school in Houston, Texas, becoming a Registered Nurse.
She married Otho Estes and lived in various places, including Mangum at one time.
After their divorce, she married her former brother-in-law, Tom Haynes in Amarillo, Texas. They continued to live in Amarillo until their deaths.
Minnie never had any children of her own.
