Would God give a good welcome
in the brightness of the Saints
to the fine soul
of
Edvige Maffei
from Fondo
After a short illness relivered with religeus solaces
in the flower of her 19th year of life
Died like she lived
strong quiet and pious
on December 16th 1918.

Edvige goodby! You were the smile
of our home;
of us distressed

don't forget in Heaven!

Pious Jesus Christ, give her peace!
R. I. P.  (Rest in peace)
