The descendance of Pierre Louis Marie Auguste Denis de Lagarde

Previously we have seen that Pierre Louis Marie Auguste, born the 2nd of February 1803 in Paris, was the the adulterious son of Louise Jeanne Nicole Arnolde Dervieu du Villars, called Fanny, born Denis de Keredern de Trobriand. He had been adopted and recognized, by order of Napoleon Bonaparte, by Pierre Marie François Denis-Lagarde. We know very few things about the infancy and adolescence of Pierre Louis, but he lived probably his first years in Venice where his adoptive father was Chief of the Police and where he lived during a time with the mother of the child, Fanny Dervieu du Villars.

Then Pierre Louis Marie Auguste Denis de Lagarde began his career as a Bannister in the Royal Court of Justice. Afterwards he joined the Deputy Chamber as a Drafter Secretary the 20th of February 1829. He did here all his career and, from the 1st of January 1842 to his retirement in 1849, has been director of the Secretariate Office of the Chamber. We do not know exactly the date of his death but, in 1873, he was still resident in Paris, at the 216 of the Boulevard Saint Germain, and visited frequently the literary saloon of Victor Hugo (as we can see in the note-books of this last writer).

Here, are displayed, in a familial museum, some artefacts or memorabilia and, among them, some furnitures from the chapel of the Cristobal Colon family to which the Boal family is akin, and some paintings related to the Denis de Lagarde and Denis de Keredern de Trobriand families.
