NEAL KEITHLEY [06 Jan 1915 – 22 Mar 1997]
James
Neal Keithley, age 82, was born in Stone County and was the son of Earl
and Mollie (Maples) Keithley.
He
served his country in the US Army during World War II and was stationed
in Africa and Italy. On June 17, 1941 he was united in marriage to Clara
Belle Fox. Together they owned and operated a general store in Abesvile
for 32 years.
He
was a member of Ponce de Leon Baptist Church and served as a deacon for
41 years.
He
was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Fern Ellingsworth
and Clara Brown.
Survivors
include: His wife of 55 years, Clara Belle; a daughter and son-in-law,
Janice and Jerry Farley, Abesville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren,
James Brian and Deanna Farley, Galena and their children, Christopher and
Amy, John and Cynthia Farley, Manhattan, Kansas and their children, John
Ross, Ashleaha, Jean Luc, and Jessica, Joey and Cynthia Farley, Galenna,
and Jeri Ann and Christopher Loomis, Galena; a sister, Ruth Pohutsky, Shelby
Township, Michigan; other relatives and many friends.

Well
Known Stone Countian Died Monday
Claude Lemuel King, son of John W. and Mary King, was born on Flat Creek
near Cape Fair, Jan 27, 1884 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Ruel T. Brarnes near Crane at 6:30 am Sept. 10, at the age of 67
yrs, 7 months and 14 days.
Survivors are his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. howard Foster
of Cape Fair, Mrs. Ruel Barnes, Aurora, routh 2; and mrs Wayne Gentry of
Crane; his father; John W. King of Cassville rought 1; one brother Leonard
King, Cape Fair; three sisters, Mrs. Ross Peck, Aurora; mrs. C. M. Wilson,
Claremore, Okla; and Mrs. Myrtle Krumsiek, Cassvillel He is also survived
by eight grandchildren. One son, Hallie preceded him in death 26 years
ago.
He was a farmer of the Cape Fair community until about five months ago
when ill health forced him to sell his farm and retire.
He became a member of the Cape Fair churtch of Christ June 4, 1950 and
lived a faithful Christioan life until the time of death.
Funeral Services are to be held this (Wednesday afternoon) at 2:30 o'clock
in the Cape Fair Church of Christ and burial will be made in the Cape Fair
cemetery.

LIZZY
KING
Lizzy King, daughter of Esebus and Syntha Stone was born APR 3, 1884 and
died June 5, 1966 in St. John's Hospital after a short illness, at the
age of 82 years, 2 months and 2 days.
She was united in marriage on Oct 9, 1909 to Claude Lemuel, who preceded
her in death. A son, Hallie , also preceded her in death.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Foster, Cape Fair, Mo.: Mrs.
Daisy Gentry, Crane, Rt. 1: and Mrs Niota Barnes, Aurora, Rt 2; eleven
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted in the Cape Fair Church of Christ Tuesday,
June 7, with Bro. Charles Lea officiating and burial was in the Cape Fair
Cemetery under direction of Manlove of Crane.
