2. James BILBROUGH (James1)1, Son. Born in 1742 in Morley, Yks, Eng. James died in Gildersome, Yks, Eng, on 1 May 1805; he was 63.1 Buried on 5 May 1805 in Morley Old Chapel.8

Park House became the family home bought from the Hudsons and then sold after Ellen Bilbroughs death. 9

In Dec 1792 was Maltster by trade. 9

On 18 Feb 1771 when James was 29, he married Martha CROWTHER1, in Batley, Yorks., Eng.10 Born in 1753 in Northowram, Halifax, Yorks., Eng. Martha died in Gildersome, Yks, Eng, on 29 Jul 1827; she was 74.1

They had the following children:

Hannah first married Thomas SCOTT1.
Hannah second married Joshua PEATE1.
iv. Sarah1, Granddaughter. Born in 1777. Sarah died in 1859; she was 82.
leaving issue two sons and five dau.

On 23 Jun 1803 when Sarah was 26, she married Thomas STEPHENSON1, in All Saints Batley,Yks.9
