This Christopher Wren (1710-1771)was the son of Christopher Wren (1674-1747) and grandson of Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723)..
Sir Christopher purchased Wroxall after the death of Sir Roger Burgoyne. Christopher Wren's (1674-1747) second wife was Constance (Middleton) Burgoyne the widow of Sir Roger Burgoyne(1681-1711). Constance was the mother of Stephen Wren b 1722. Her other children were Constantia Maria Burgoyne b 1705, John Burgoyne b 1706/7 and Roger Burgoyne b 1710.
