Logic for working out Ehud's parents - There are a whole string of children of William Sawle (and multiple other spellings) with sometimes the mention of Elizabeth as the mother. These baptisms track back through time to the baptism of John Sowel on 14 Jun 1755 - which appears to be round about the requisite period after the marriage of the William Sowell of Gerrans to Elizabeth Collins on 13-May 1754. As a minor corroborative fact, one of the children is called Hannah - and Elizabeth's parents were Pasco Collins & Hannah (Hunt), married in Cuby with Tregony on 13-May 1716.
Was living with her daughter Abigail at the time of the 1841 census.
Gravestone in Gerrans Churchyard states that Abigal died in Dec 1860 aged 90 - however the parish records have her burial recorded on 18th November 1863 aged 91 - curious! Also, her name is spelled Abigal on the gravestone.
