   Henry (s. of John and Martha), was b. at Sherborn, Mass., Apr. 1, 1764. He was grad. at Har. Coll. 1785, and ord. pastor over the First Parish in Hing. (its fourth minister) Oct. 24, 1787. In 1805 he resigned his pastorate in Hing. to accept the position of Hollis Professor of Divinity in Har. Coll. He m. first, March 31, 1789, Mary, dau. of Rev. Jonas Clark of Lexington, Mass. She d. 13 July, 1805; and he m. secondly, Feb. 1807, Mrs. Mary (Otis) Lincoln, wid. of Benjamin Lincoln, Jr. (p. 10), and dau. of Hon. James and Ruth (Cunningham) Otis. She d. on the 17th of the same month, a few days after her marriage, at the age of 43 yrs. For his third w. he m. in Sept. 1807, Elizabeth, dau. of Nicholas Bowes of Boston, by whom he had nine ch., five sons and four dau's. Dr. Ware d. at Cambridge, 12 July, 1845, at the age of 81 yrs.

               22 Sept. 1843, at the age of 49 yrs.
         vi.  John, Dec. 19, 1795; Har. Coll. 1813; M.D. 1816. "Physician;" m. Helen, dau. of
               Dr. Levi Lincoln of Hing. (II. 483), and d. 1864, at the age of 68 yrs.
               She d. 25 Jan. 1858, at the age of 59 yrs.
        vii.  William, Aug. 3, 1797; Har. Coll. 1816, d. at Cambridge 19 Feb. 1852, at the age of 55 yrs.
       viii.  Martha, June 2, 1799, d. 20 Oct. 1802.

   Thomas Minns (Leonard == Sarah Ann Minns), was b. at Boston, May 25, 1843, m. Nov. 13, 1872, Mary H. Crosby, dau. of William and Mary E. (Bowles) Crosby. She was b. at Roxbury, Mass., May 25, 1846. "Merchant." Resides on Otis St.
