   James, m. in Hing. Dec. 13, 1722, Judith, dau. of James and Abigail Whiton. She was b. in Hing. May 6, 1689, and surviving him, m. secondly, Dec. 22 1737 Jonathan Farrow widower. James was killed by a fall in his cellar, 23 Apr. 1733, at ab. 55 yrs. "Cordwainer." Resided at "Liberty Plain," So. Hing.

          ii.  Joseph, March 30, 1725.
         iii.  John, June 13, 1727.
         iv.  Elijah, Apr. 20, 1732. Enlisted in Maj. Samuel Thaxter's company, July 26, 1756, d.
               20 Sept foll., at the age of 24 yrs.

   Matthew, Jr., from Wey., and perh. gr. s. of the preceding m. in Hing. Oct. 10, 1782, Esther Bailey. They prob. removed from here ab. 1785, or soon after.
