In the name of God Amen I Catherine Hosking of the parish of Saint Allen in the County of Cornwall Spinster [sic] feeling my natural strength decaying and my body growing weaker but thanks be to god am of a sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following. First of all I commit my soul into the hand of Almighty God trusting through the merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have the pardon of all my sins and an inheritage in the Kingdom of heaven and my body to be decently interred in the earth at the discretion of Executors hereafter named. I give unto my son Thomas Hosking the sum of 10 £ lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by the Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Jane the daughter of Thomas Hosking the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Thomas the son of Thomas Hosking the sum of 5£ lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Catherine the daughter of Thomas Hosking £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Mary the daughter of Thomas Hosking £1 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Thomas Hosking Chenoweth the son of Joanna Polkinghorn the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to [be] paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Alice Brown the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto John Brown the son of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto Richard the son of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease. I give unto William Brown the [son] of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of 5 £ lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors after my decease. I give unto Elizabeth Hosking Brown the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease I give unto Catherine Hosking Brown the sum of £5 and my gold ring to be paid by lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease I give unto Mary Hosking Brown daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Brown the sum of £5 lawful money of Great Britain to be paid by my executors one month after my decease I give unto my son Richard Hosking the sum of £35 of good and lawful money of Great Britain and likewise my bed and bedding and pewter to be paid by my Executors one month after my decease I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Brown all my wearing apparel All the rest of my effects not already given I do hereby give and bequeath my Executors as followeth Elizabeth Brown wife of Richard Brown, Catherine Calf wife of Robert Calf, Joanna Polkinghorn wife of Humphry Polkinghorn I do hereby constitute jointly and equally appoint them [w]hole and sole Executors of this my last will and testament In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of April One thousand Eight Hundred and Ten
