Will of John SHEVYN, Tamworth, Staffordshire: 1811

Probate granted 11 Apr 1814, Lichfield

I John SHEVYN of Tamworth in the County of Stafford, Farrier, do make this my last will and testament in manner and following (that is to say)

First I desire to be buried at Swepstone in the County of Leicester and subject to the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture, personal estate and effects of every description, whereof I am possessed, or may be entitled to at the time of my decease, unto Susannah TURNER, spinster, who now lives with me, and whom I appoint sole executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this twenty-ninth day of December in the Year of Our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Eleven

Signed Sealed Published & Declared by the said John SHEVYN the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereof:

At Lichfield 11 April 1814:
Let a Probate be granted to Susannah TURNER of Tamworth, spinster, the Sole Executrix She being first duly sworn as also that the personal Estate does not amount to 100 £
