Removals & Settlements

While the SHEAVYN family, into which Sarah WHITE married, had been middle-class landowners and tradesmen with a history of parish service as church wardens and other official positions, the WHITEs often featured in Ticknall removal and settlement and were mentioned in other pauper records.
