Henry Paul 1841-1904 & wife Emily Elizabeth Eaton 1845-1913

Dr. Henry Paul, was born 1841, Kentucky.  He was a Colorado '59er.  Henry Paul  married Emily Elizabeth Eaton, sister of  Colorado Governor Benjamin H. Eaton on the 16 November 1871, on Greeley, Weld County, Colorado.  Emily was born in Coshocton county, Ohio in 1846.

Henry and wife Emily Elizabeth lived in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado where Henry was employed as a miner.  In 1890 he was manager of the Aspen Mine.  Mr. Henry was the Representative of Gilpin County at the 1874 Territorial Legislature.

They had five children:

1.  William Henry Paul, b. 1873, Colorado. Died 1945

      Married:  February 19, 1901, Central City, Gilpin County, Colorado

2.  Sarah Isabel Paul, b. 1875, Colorado.  Sarah is enumerated under the name "Isabel" in 1880 and "Sarah I." in 1885
     Spouse:  William L. Clayton
     Married October 8, 1902, Denver, Colorado

 in Clayton plot which lies adjacent to Paul family plot.

3.  Russell B. Paul, b. 1879, Colorado. Died 1956
     Spouse: Mary E. Gilmour, 1881-1950
     Married: September 25, 1906, Denver, Colorado
