Survivors of the 53rd Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry (all Company D ?) at their original muster site at the former Camp Stevens. The date on the stone appears to be 1915. William Bush (Boush), Color Sergeant of Company D is 4th from the right. I'd be happy to receive identifications of any of the others shown.
