Great site. Do you know that Barnabus RUMSEY born 1606 in Collingbourne was a succesful Grocer? There are Grocers Tokens bearing his name available on the internet at expensive prices (Do a google search). Judging by this success it seems to be an established business at that time and that his branch of the RUMSEY family came from a longer line of Grocers from the village.

Barnabas married Elizabeth NEWBY on 7 Apr 1627.
