All of the photos and documents on this page were among the personal effects
of my maternal grandmother, Ella Faye (Asbury) Larner, wife of Walter Scott Larner
and daughter of Gilbert Sylvester Asbury and Anna Eliza (Wright) Asbury. After my grandmother
passed away in 1989 my mother, Anne (Larner) Couch kept them in a box.
Unfortunately, I was not aware of their existence until several years
after my mother passed away in 1994.
The documents and photos in that box were the inspiration I needed to (finally) begin my "roots quest"...
