Namm's Department Store

Started as a dry goods store in Manhattan in 1876, Adolph I. Namm moved the store in 1886 to Fulton Street at Hoyt Street in Brooklyn. Namm's closed in 1957.

Loretta Delaney worked for a number of years as a salesperson at Namm's.1

Although Namm's is gone, the building has survived. Contemporary photographs of the building can be viewed at the Forgotten NY web site.
