|Trevor Elemes relaxing back at
Nui Dat. One of the continual tasks was cleaning your own
personal weapon ... in this case an SLR ... Mate, did you
ever get this rifle back together?
Note the chair ... the lairest chair in The Dat ... stolen from Alpha Company from memory. In the background you can see Cups canteens on the sandbags and some of the pathways used to move around during the wet season.
John "Ginna" Ginnivan with The Gun ... funny how everyone loved posing with the machine gun back at The Dat ... but give it to the buggars to carry out bush ... Oh No Woody you can carry it now ... Thanks guys.
In the background you can see one of the tents in between the rubber trees. Normal pose for Vietnam ... fag hanging out of the corner of the mouth ... and who will ever forget Ginna's smile.
