Some of the guys went to the Sydney Welcome Home Parade.

The next major, but informal get together, was at the opening of the Vietnam Memorial in Canberra.

But the first real Reunion was organised by Tony Cox (8 Platoon) in Adelaide on 20 March 1999, the anniversary of Dave Paterson's death. This was a Charlie Company Reunion.

The next Reunion was 23-25 April 2001, 30 years after we served in Viet Nam. This was a Battalion Reunion, inspired by Tony Cox organising the Company Reunion in 1999. The 23rd of April was reserved for Company Reunions. The 24th of April is Kapyong Day, which represents the Battalions major battle honour gained at Kapyong in Korea. And on the 25th of April 3RAR was given the honour of leading the Royal Australian Regiment in the Adelaide Anzac day March.

The next Reunion is planned for Noosa ... details are still being finalised and will be posted here ... we are hoping to catch up with some of the Goons who have not yet made it to a Reunion.
