RB found this in the Red Bank Register of 27 Nov 1895:  "William Bodine of Long Branch celebrated his 50th birthday last 
week by a surprise party which his friends got up for him." This establishes William's birth as Nov 1845, 3 years 
earlier than the Sept 1848 birth date of the 1900 Census. From Dave: I have his day as Nov. 17, but I don't see any 
source for that.
