This baptism date may be incorrect. Someone else had a birth year of about 1818 for Cornelius.
The Britton genealogy says he left a will date June 13, 1842. See Richmond County Surrogate's records (F:177).
From Ronny Bodine:
Cornelius Bodine, in his will of 13 June 1842, described himself as a resident of Castleton and left his estate to his siblings: John, Peter I. V. and Abraham Bodine, Peter Roff and his wife Catherine, Mary T., wife of Paul Merrell, Lois, wife of Wm. Daniels, Ann Eliza Bodine, and David M. Bodine. Executor was his uncle, Jacob Bodine (Richmond Co. Wills F: 177).
