Obituary reads:

Mrs. Bowlin

Mrs. Mabel Burnett Bowlin, 64, of Decherd, wife of Jesse Bowlin, died Sunday at Franklin County Hospital following a short illness.

A native of Madison County, Ala., she was born Jan 6, 1916. She was the daughter of Sam and Anna Clark Rollins.

She was a member of the Church of God.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Cortner Funeral Home. The Rev. Pat Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Payne’s Church Cemetery.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include six daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Dodson and Mrs. Henderson Stephens, both of Decherd, Mrs. Jim Hawkins, Estill Springs, Mrs. James Davis, Cowan, Mrs. Melvin Bright and Mrs. Lon Stephens, both of Manchester; three sons, Billy Bowlin, Decherd, Milton Bowlin, Winchester, and Robert Bowling, Estill Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Reba Mason and Mrs. Floyd Ward, both of Normandy; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
