Services Held for Mrs. Hall

Mrs. Maggie Mae Durham Hall of Long Beach, Calif. a Franklin County native, died Dec. 13. She was 81.

Services were conducted Dec. 16 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The Rev. Doyle Johnston, the Rev. Cecil Tucker and the Rev. John Hamblen officiated. Burial was in Mt. Garner Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall, born May 30, 1897, was the daughter of James Singelton Durham and Mary Taylor Durham.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jerre Shellabarger, Long Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Odie Marlin Sr. and Mrs. Jessie Womack, both of Winchester; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Maggie’s Parents: James Singleton Durham and Mary Jane (Taylor) Durham

Maggie’s parents were my great-grandparents. My grandmother was Maggie’s sister, Jessie Velma (Durham) Bolden Womack.

Maggie Mae (Durham) Hall: is Margaret "Maggie" (Durham) Hall. She was born 30 May 1897, Walnut Grove Community, Franklin Co., TN. Died 13 Dec, 1978 at Long Beach, CA.

Daughter: Mrs. Jerre Shellabarger, above, is Oma Mae "Jerry" (Hall) Beimfohr Shellaberger.

Sisters:

Mrs. Odie Marlin Sr., above, is Hattie Mae (Durham) Marlin

Mrs. Jessie Womack, above, is Jessie Velma (Durham) Bolden Womack
