Obituary reads:
Mrs. Williams Dies at Age 80
Mrs. Fannie Skidmore Williams of Decherd died Saturday in Franklin County Hospital following an extended illness. She was 80
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The Rev. John Stammer Smith and the Rev. Ky Curry officiated. Burial was in Mt. Garner Cemetery, Decherd.
Mrs. Williams, a Franklin County native, was born March 26, 1895. She was the daughter of Nina Myers Skidmore and Andrew Jackson Skidmore.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, David Williams, and a daughter, Mrs. Werdna Bass, both of Decherd; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
