Notes:
1) Wilford Carrico is said by Homer Edwin Carrico in "The Carrico
Family" publ. Filson Club Quarterly 1951 to be a son of Basil of Peter.
No mention is made of a John. Homer's only source are "notes of Maude
Russell Carrico and notes of Robert Bruce Carrico". Relationship
between Wilford & John is uncertain at this time.
2) This cannot be the same John Carrico listed 1810 census in Nelson
Co., KY pg 18 with males 1 over 45. Females: 1 26/44.
3) A John Carrico is listed ancestry.com's substitute census records as
in Nelson Co. 1800 along with Cornelius Carrico.
4) A John Carrico married Debby Carrico (said by Homer to be d/o James
of Peter) Washington Co., KY Jan. 25, 1802.
Not sure if we're talking 2 or more John Carrico's here or which is
which, but all appear to be fatherless at this point.
