In the name of God, amen, I Henry Carrico of the county of Daviess and State of Kentucky being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory (praise be to God for the same) and being desious of settling my worldly affairs while I have the strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last will and testament, that is to say.

1st That my will and wishes may be faithfully and impartially carried out, I name and appoint James T. Snyder and James B. Carrico to be my executors to sell and settle my estate.

2nd My executors are directed to sell all my real estate within twelve months after my death (they may use their discretion as to whether they shall sell privately ar at public outcry) and make the purchaser a deed for the same. The personality is directed to be sold to the highest bidder.

3rd After paying my debts and funeral expenses and fifty dollars for a tombstone to mark my grave and other espenses incumbered in settling my estate, the balance belongin to me shall be divid as is hereafter directed.

4th My wife Rebecca having made and entered into a special marriage contract with me will receive an equal share of my estate with my heirs (as per conditions of contract) instead of dower rights. She now owns and probably will hold some property at my death, which does not come within the provisions of this will.

5th My son John T. Carrico having been given property equal to his share of my estate will receive nothing more.

6th To my grand daughter the child of my son Benjamin H. Carrico, I give the sum of Twenty Five Dollars.

7th My son William A. Carrico will receive One hundred dollars and an equal share with my other heirs.

8th My son Henry Aden Carrico having departed this life, it is my will that his share be divided equally amongst his children.

9th After paying the above mentioned bequests, my executions are directed to divide the remainder of my estate equally between Rebecca (my wife), James B. Carrico, Francis M. Carrico, Martin S. Carrico, Nannie T. Snyder and William A. Carrico.

                              The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Henry Carrico deceased was this day produced to court and duly proven by F. W. Clark and Jno. H. Cissell the two subscribing witnesses thereto, and the same is now ordered to record as and for the last will and testament of Henry Carrico. Witness my hand this April 21st 1890.
