who, being by me duly sworn, upon his oath saith that to the best of
his knowledge there is one heirs [sic] of Felix Carrico decd now in
being, to wit; Lydia Carrico living in the County of St. Louis and that
to the best of his knowledge, that the [black spot] knows and believes
that he will well and truly …

As guardian of Lyddia Carrico I do hereby acknowledge to have received
of Walter Carrico administrator of the estate of
Felix Carrico decd the sum of four
hundred dollars it being her distribute share made by the county
[ink blob] for the county of St.
Louis at the February term thereof in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and thirty seven.
