Norwood, VA., January 2
Verna Carrico of this place and Miss Clarice Pierce were married at 10
o'clock on Tuesday morning at Penlan, the home of the bride. They
arrived here Tuesday afternoon, where they will reside.

Funeral of Mrs. Carrico

Norwood, Va., Mar. 13
The body of Mrs. Carrington Carrico who died at the Catawba Springs on
Thursday was brought here on Sunday evening. The funeral was held from
Christ Episcopal Church, and burial took place in the family section
east of Norwood. Mrs. Carrico was a native of Georgia, but had lived in
Virginia several years. She leaves a husband and three children.

Verna K Carrico of Nashville Tenn. who arrived here Sunday with the
remains of his wife, who was formerly Miss Clarice Pierce, left Monday
for his home. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian Church Sunday
afternoon, Rev. W. Mc? Miller and Rev. Plummer F. Jones conducting the

Mrs. Anna P. Carrico
Lynchburg, Va. Aug. 25 - Mrs. Anna P. Carrico, 66 years of age, wife
of J. W. Carrico died Monday at her home at Norwood, Nelson County. she
was a member of Bethany Methodist Church, and is survived by her
husband and these children : Charles Carrington of Norwood; Mrs. Ethel
Carter, of Philadelphia; Miss (sic) Verna Carrico of Pontiac Mich.,
Hereford Carrico, of Boston, Ind., I. F. Carrico of Roanoke, and Mrs.
Anna P. Milloway of Richmond.

John W. Carrico
Funeral Services for John W. Carrico, 85, postmaster and merchant at
Norwood for more than 45 years, who died Tuesday at the home of his son
in Richmond, Ind., will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at Norwood.
Surviving are four sons, Carrington, Verna, Herford and Irwin, and two
daughters, Mrs. Ethel Carter of Philadelphia and Mrs. Anna Milloway of
Richmond.
