ALL persons having unsettled accounts with the subscriber of more than
six months standing are requested to call and close them by payment, or
at least by giving their notes on interest — It is easy settling while
every charge is fresh in the memory; but after a person has forgotten that
he was sick or lame, the trouble of the Physician is also forgotten.
Let those who are unwilling to settle often remember that Physicians
have
wants like other men which must be supplied — and that when in prison they
cannot like the man of old, open the doors and depart without paying the
utmost farthing.
