ELLA B. PLUNKETT 
HORNELL - Ella B. Plunkett, 69, of Route 36, Town of Dansville, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning (May 2, 2000) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born in Shongo, N.Y., on March 29, 1931, she was the daughter of Clifford Robbins and Bertha (Bost) Chilson. She has resided in Town of Dansville for about 20 years.
Surviving are two sons, Nicholas Cianciosi of Rochester; Bradley Pucula of Dansville; two daughters, Mary (Daniel) Wright of Dunkirk; Brenda (Thomas) Schumacher of North Tonawanda; her mother, Bertha Chilson of Dansville; one sister, Helen (Robert) Gardner of Arkport; several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family of Ella B. Plunkett will receive friends on Thursday (today) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, where funeral and committal services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Robert Kanka officiating. Burial will be in Westfield, Pa.

BERTHA A. CHILSON 
DANSVILLE - Bertha A. Chilson, 86, of State Rte. 36, died today (June 1, 2000) at the East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw, following a long illness.
Mrs. Chilson was born Aug. 18, 1913, in Westfield, Pa., the daughter of Joseph Martin and Lena Belle Proudy Bost.
She had worked in the food service dept. of Monroe County Correctional Facility in Rochester for many years.
Mrs. Chilson is survives by one daughter, Mrs. Helen (Robert) Gardner of Hornell, one sister, Mary Shonda of Trumbul, Conn.; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her fist husband, Clifford Robbins; daughter, Ella Plunkett; four sisters, Minnie and Susie Bost, Helen Decker and Virginia Burment; one brother, Floyd Bost.
Friends may call Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at the H.P. Smith & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo, where services will be held immediately following calling hours at 2 p.m.. the Rev. Carl Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in the Champlin Cemetery in Westfield, Pa.
