394. Johann Jacob
BASHORE was born in 1740 in Berks Co, PA. He died in 1815
in Bethel Twp, Berks Co, PA. In 1770 Johann Jacob was an active Member
of Little Swatara Congregation and became a Minister (Brethren) before 1790.

He served as a Private in Capt. Wolfe's Co. of Berks Co. PA Militia (PA Archives)
4 June 1776 he obtained a Proprietary Patent for land in Pine Grove twp, Berks
Co PA (Now Schuylkill Co) across the Blue Mountain from Millersburg (now Bethel)
which he named GUIENNE for the ancestral home in GUIENNE, France.
Reportedly there were 10 children including a daughter, Margaret Merichia Beshar
b 3 May 1785, nothing further known. Johann Jacob BASHORE and Christina ALDERFER
were married in 1766. 395. Christina ALDERFER was born in 1745 in Pine Grove Twp, Berks
Co, Pennsylvania. Children were:
