EDITOR'S MESSAGE

This forty-page issue has taken literally hundreds of hour to compile, check, recheck, proof, and correct.  It has been both a pleasure and a pain.  Although publication of this issue was delayed in order to finish this material, I believe it was worth while. Most BOYT/E and BOYET/T/E families are represented as most families had at least one member who found his way into some part of Mississippi.

Although we have tried to include every single BOYT/E and BOYET/T/E that lived in the state or territory of Mississippi, we may have missed some.  Also, confusing records for some of the families have made this compilation extremely difficult.  Please write and let me know about any and all mistakes, typographical errors, and individuals or families that were missed in the Mississippi records.  Errors and omissions will be published as corrected in the Newsletter.
From this base and another computer based compilation  BOYT/E and BOYET/T/E materials that I began several years ago, I'm hoping that most of our Southern States families of this surname can be assembled, printed, and published.  If not, maybe several  issues  next year can incorporate material  from the earlier compilation.

When he arrived home, he learned that he had twin daughters, and he always felt that God had sent him the message through the doves; Rebecca d. 13 Feb 1941.
