Notes on the photo collection of Elizabeth Thrash Brady
This collection comprises about 650 photographs of ancestors and family members, people listed in Elizabeth Thrash Brady’s genealogical collection Kinfolk, originally published (in limited quantity) in 1994, and placed on line by Robert Martin Brady in “Brady Trilogy” http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~bradytrilogy/ .
Because Elizabeth was considered the primary record-keeper for the extended family (especially on the Thrash side) she was given photographs by several of the older family members. I’ve included all of these older photographs, organized to match the family tree.
Note that there are generally photos at each level of the following organizational scheme, not just at the lowest level. The file hierarchy is organized as follows:

Important: When additional information about a photograph is available, notes are included in the “Properties” listing for the photo file. Right-click on the photo file, then select “Properties” from the pop-up list, then click on the “Summary” tab. (If the notes are extensive, separate text files are provided.)
Elizabeth had many other photographs not included in this collection, of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and others. Because of the labor involved, I’ve not included these other photos at this time, and have primarily tried to document the older members of our families where access to photographs has been limited.

[1] Bea Thrash Brady’s adult and family photos are included under Ted Thrash, in the Thrash section.
[2] Because of the quantity of photos for Troy and Elizabeth’s family, they are given a separate main file
[3] Note that the Crislip family is primarily related to Elizabeth, but also to Helen, the wife of Bland Brady.
