• Subscribing to the list
  • Single message mode: If you want to get each post to the list sent to you separately, clicking on the following shortcut will create the subscription message to Subscribe to BRANDL-L
    
  • Digest-mode: If you prefer to receive several postings to the BRANDL-list as a single consolidated message, then Subscribe to BRANDL-D (digest)
    

The above links should work, but if your browser doesn't understand them, try these manual instructions: to join BRANDL-L , send mail to [email protected] with the single word subscribe in the message subject and body. To join BRANDL-D, do the same thing with [email protected]

• Unsubscribing from the list
  As before, you can use the following shortcuts to quickly create the Unsubscribe-messages:
  • Unsubscribe from BRANDL-L
  • Unsubscribe from BRANDL-D (digest)

  If the shortcuts don't work for you, follow these instructions to unsubscribe manually:
  To leave BRANDL-L , send mail to [email protected] with the single word unsubscribe in the message subject and body.
  To leave BRANDL-D, do the same thing with [email protected]

• Message Board
  The BRANDL Surname Message Board serves a similar purpose as the Mailing list, but is more like a Forum where several people may meet. The list is an appropriate means for a lively day-to-day discussion of various topics, while the purpose of the (Query) Board mainly is to put up a flag for anyone to see and answer to your query or see your data and maybe find a connection, even after a year or more. In addition, the Board messages are being indexed, which makes finding any information posted there really easy.
