Our ancestors came to Australia from England, India, Ireland, and Scotland. They arrived as Bounty Immigrants, Convicts, Assisted Immigrants and Non-Assisted Immigrants. They came with skills: Blacksmiths, farmers, housmaids and soldiers. Some could not read or write, many could do one and not the other and others could do both. Our research is a continual work in progress and all information found will be acknowledged in our link to sources.
