Notes by VS: I would love to know who it is and when it was taken. It is a relative of mine, could be last name Dawson, Toon, or Pott.  Inscribed on reverse, "5778".

Notes by JJ: This is probably the daughter of Samuel Ernest Hartshorn and Ethel Flint. They married 12 June 1905 at West Hallam and emigrated to Canada in 1911. They must have returned, perhaps for a holiday, for the picture to have been taken in Derby. There is nothing on the the reverse of the photo. Image © & courtesy of Jane James
