My property consists only of household goods, corn on the premises and
live and dead stock on the farm which I have as tenant from John Mott Esqr
of Lichfield Close and The Rev T.C. Fell and whereby I became possessed
under the will of my late father of all his property on condition that
I maintained my mother for life. I do give to her the bed stocks and furniture
thereto belonging which she now uses, one small table, one elbow chair
and one small chair.
I am indebted to John Mott Esq. for £100 for which I have given
my note together with some interest due and arrears of rent. Also to the
Rev T.C. Fell some arrears in rent.
All my corn, farm stock and other property to be sold at any time deemed advantageous by John Walton (who has promised to assist my family in the management of the affair) within 15 months of my decease and pay all just debts funeral and testamentary expenses. If insufficient all household goods except those devised to my mother shall be sold. If a surplus it shall be applied to the benefit of my wife and children.

19th May 1830. Probate granted to John Walton with powers reserved for making a like grant to Rev. T.C. Fell and Ann Benfield. Goods, chattels and credits <£600.
