[Text of Will]
In the Name of God Amen. I Jhon Tetley of the Parish of Smysby in the County of Derby being very sick, and weak, and of perfect mind, and memory, make this my last will and Testament. First, I desire to be decently buried at the discretion of my dearly beloved Wife the Executrix; And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to Bless me in this Life. I give, Demise, and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. All my debts and Funeral Expenses to be paid. (Secondly) I give and bequeath, to Elizabeth Tetley my dearly beloved Wife, whom I likewise constitute, make and ordain the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, all and singular my Land one Acre Lying in Hartshorne Parish in the County of Derby, Good, and Chattels by her freely to be possessed of, and enjoyed. And at her Death to be enjoyed by my Daughter Hannah Tetley only – paying Five Pounds to John Tetley, and Five Pounds to Thamer Watkinson if there be property left to pay it.; And I do hereby utterly revoke, disallow, and disannul all former Bequests, Wills, and legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made, declaring, ratifying, and Confirming this and no other, to be my Will and Testament. In Witness whereof, thereunto set my hand and seal, this seventeenth Day of January One Thousand Eight Hundred, and Eleven.

Signed, Sealed, Published, and Declared, by the within named Testator (John Tetley) to be his last Will and Testament in presense of us who subscribed our names, in Presense of the said Testator, and of each other.
