In the name of god amen the yere of our lord 1559 the 18 day of maye I
Laurence Nubold of Stretton in Fold, syeke in bodye hole In mynd thankes
be geve to almyghtie God. I make thys my last wyll In maner folowyng.
Fyrst I comend my soull to allmyghty God, my bodye to the yearthe.
Item: I bequeth the Reparynge of the bell iijs iiijd. Item:
I gyve to the Rep-arynge of the bryge xxd. Item: I gyve to
the Reparynge of the Pavment xxd. Item: I bequeth to Robeart
Tatome a hefer of two yere oold. Item: I gyve to Thomas Nubold
my best doblett & two best shert. I gyve to Wyllam Nubold
one Jakett & one Doublet. the Residue of my goods not bequethed
I gyve & bequeth to my three Dautters, Margeri, Helene
& [f?ase] to be Dalte amonge them equally to every one lycke portion.
Item: I wyll that Robeart Smart shall have
one of my doubletts wt her portion, Thomas Nubold to have a nother
In lycke force & Wyllm Nubold to have the other. Allso I make
my executors my eldeste doutter & Thomas Nubold.
