[Text of Will]
THIS is the Will of me Thomas Newbold of Over Seale in the County of Leicester made the 15th day of February A.D. 1872.
I bequeath all my real and personal property to my wife Jane Newbold viz four houses situate in Over Seale in the occupation of myself, Henry Finch, William Hughes and William Miller. All the furniture of my dwelling house and all that appertains thereto also all money deposited in Savings Bank: Ashby de la Zouch and at the decease of my wife the said Jane Newbold, the property to be sold and equally divided among my four sons, and one daughter viz Thomas Newbold Peter Newbold Philip Newbold Jonathan Newbold and Mary Finch wife of Henry Finch.

Executors I appoint Jonathan Newbold and Henry Finch my executors.

in the presence of us being present at the same time
who at his request, in his presence and in the presence
of each other subscribe our names as witnesses.

                                                          Proved at Leicester the twenty sixth day of March 1874
                                                          by the Oaths of Jonathan Newbold Son of the deceased
                                                          and Henry Finch the Executors to whom Administration
                                                          was granted.

The Testator Thomas Newbold was late of Overseale in the County of
Leicester, Laborer, and died on the twenty first day of July 1873 at
Overseale aforesaid.
