[Text of Will]
This is the last Will and Testament of me WILLIAM LOWE of Hartshorne in the County of Derby Farmer. First I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be fully paid and satisfied and subject to such payment I give and bequeath all my household furniture stock in trace, live and dead stock and all other my personal estate of which I shall die possessed unto my sons WILLIAM LOWE and JOSEPH WALTER LOWE their executors and administrators and assigns Upon trust to permit and suffer my dear Wife MARY to carry on my said business of a Farmer and to have hold and enjoy my said personal estate to and for her own use and benefit for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I direct my said Trustees to convert my said personal estate by sale or otherwise as they shall determine and upon such conversion to pay and apply the proceeds and all principal monies coming into their hands unto between and amongst such of my seven children as shall be living at the death of my said Wife share and share alike and in case any one or more of my said children shall depart this life during the lifetime of my said Wife and leaving issue him her or them surviving my said Wife than I direct my said Trustees to pay and apply the share of the parent or parents so dying as aforesiad unto such issue respectively share and share alike. And I appoint my said Wife MARY and my said two sons WILLIAM and JOSEPH WALTER Executrix and Executors of this my Will.

As witness my hand this twelfth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine.

Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other and present at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

Proved at Derby the 13th day of February 1883 by the oath of WILLIAM LOWE, the son one of the surviving Executors to whom Administration was granted. Power reserved to MARY LOWE Widow the Relict, the other surviving Executor.

The testator WILLIAM LOWE was late of Hartshorne in the County of Derby Farmer, and died on the 12th day of December 1882 at Hartshorne aforesaid.

I certify this to be a true copy.

On the thirteenth day of February 1883 the will of WILLIAM LOWE late of Hartshorne in the County of Derby Farmer deceased, who died on the 12th day of December 1882 was proved in Her Majesty's High Court of Justice in the District Registry attached to the Probate Division thereof at Derby by the Oath of WILLIAM LOWE of Alfreton in the county of Derby, saddler, son of the said deceased, one of the surviving executors named in the said Will, he having first sworn duly to administer. Power reserved to MARY LOWE Widow, the Relict of the said deceased the other surviving Executor.
