Bricker DNA Project Join Request

Bricker DNA Project Join Request

You're invited to participate in the Bricker (and variant surnames) DNA Project.

The various families having these surnames in the U.S. and Canada today, including Bricker, Bruegger, Brucker, Bruecker, Brugger, Brickert, Bruckert, Brookhart, and Brigger, descend from immigrants of different faiths who arrived from Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Norway, Britain, and Eastern Europe.

The goal of this DNA project is to discover, by comparing our genetic and genealogical data:

  1. WHICH among us with these surnames are related because we share the same ancestors;

  2. WHEN in the past those of our common ancestors may have lived; and

  3. WHERE in Europe those ancestors came from.

The more individuals who participate in this project, the more comparisons can be made of our DNA results, and the more useful the information will be to all of us.

Please fill in the form below to request to join this project. Your information will be sent to the Project's coordinator, who will get in touch with you regarding your request.
