OBITUARY for
MRS. W. BAUGHMAN
MAQUON -- Mrs. William (Georgia) Baughman, 69, of Maquon Route 2,
died Tuesday at 5 a.m. at her home.
The former Georgia Cooksey was born Feb. 1, 1908 in Aledo, and
married William P. Baughman on June 7, 1946 in Galesburg.
He survives with three sons, Eugene, Clarence and Wayne Briggs,
all of Galesburg; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Thompson, Wataga, and Mrs.
Doris Thompson, of near Gilson; 22 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home,
Maquon, where friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. Rev. Carroll Ochsner
will officiate. Burial will be in the Maquon Cemetery.
Georgia married Clarence Max Briggs, son of Francis Albert Briggs and Tekla Sophia Erickson, about 1924 in Illinois.
