We left Grafenwoehr Thursday afternoon after school and drove to Vicenza, Italy. On the way through Austria, we saw this pretty castle. We went from 28 degrees and 3 feet of snow in the pass to 65 degrees and sunny on the either side of it!

Friday, April 7, 2000
 
After spending the night in Vicenza, we left for Naples the next morning and drove through tunnel after tunnel after tunnel!

Saturday, April 8, 2000
 
We spent the morning at our cabin and relaxing after the long van ride, then spent the afternoon seeing the sights. We stayed in our LITTLE cabin here for 3 nights, and it is in an extinct volcano outside of Naples.

We spent the day seeing the sights of the Amalfia coast (south of Naples, a bunch of towns built into the sides of the mountains, very pretty!)
