Brock, John, Private, Taylor's Company, Mustered in January 1779 [Publication Number: M881 Publication Title: Compiled Service Records of Soldiers Who Served in the American Army During the Revolutionary War Publisher: NARA Date: 1775-1785 Tenth Regiment; North Carolina; Commanded by Abraham Shepard, Page 2]  Notes: Abraham Shepard's 10th Regiment, North Carolina Continental Line, 10th North Carolina Regiment was organized from 19 April to 1 July 1777 at Kinston, North Carolina from men from the northeastern region of the state of North Carolina. The regiment did not see any action. The regiment was disbanded on June 1, 1778 at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
