* Sandeman Scrapbook - Permission for me to reproduce this book online was provided by the compiler, Glen Ralph of Wilmar Library. This link is to the contents page, which itself links off to 24 webpages with biographical information about members of the (extended) Sandeman family, along with information about businesses, religious denominations, legal proceedings, letters, and so on associated with them.
* Sandeman, G.L. (ed.) (1950) The Sandeman Genealogy, Edinburgh: George Waterston & Sons.
I have in my possession, on loan from my father, a book published in 1950 titled "The Sandeman Genealogy", which was printed for distribution among members of the family. It lists approximately 3,500 members of the extended Sandeman family, tracing the descendents of John Sandeman, a native of Alyth in Perthshire, who married Margaret A. Smith on the 23rd of November, 1628. Some "orphan" trees are also included (though not indexed). This book was originally compiled in 1894 by John Glas Sandeman from family notes, memoranda, and the original 1870 manuscript by David Peat. Gerald Lionel Sandeman brought it up to date in 1950, and the family branches are mostly up to date for the year 1939, with some branches updated to the year 1949. No sources for the information are listed apart from these. I am currently trying to gain permission from the publishers before transcribing any significant amount of data from this book onto my website.

* Sandeman, J.G. (ed.) (1895) The Sandeman Genealogy, Edinburgh: George Waterston & Sons.
Glen Ralph (see Researcher Index) has in his possession a photocopy of the original Sandeman Genealogy compiled in 1894 by John Glas Sandeman, and published in 1895. (Please note that exact citation details for the resource were not provided, so my assumptions above may be slightly off). Genealogical information from this source is reproduced on my website in the Sandeman Family Trees and Gedcoms section so that people can refer to this rare resource.
