Martha Bearse was born about 1720.  She married Isaac Lewis in Barnstable on 19 Feb 1747. (1)   When her father wrote his will on 13 Jan 1759 he left a third of his estate to his dearly beloved wife and to his oldest son, the house where his son was living.  The rest was pretty much divided between his three unmarried daughters, Hannah, Mary and Dinah.  His daughters "Eleanor Logge" and "Martha Lewis" each received 20 shillings whereas his daughter Lydia Callio only received 6 shillings. (2)
Martha and her husband Isaac Lewis had 6 children all born in Barnstable.  Her husband, Isaac Lewis, was listed in the 1790 census for Barnstable with a female in his household which was probably his wife, Martha.  They were listed right next to two of their sons, Solomon and Isaac Lewis. (3)
